Changing Business Ownership

Changing ownership of your Rerun account? No problem. Just follow the steps below to get started.

  1. The new owner would need to apply for a new Rerun Merchant ID (MID) using their information, bank account, etc. Simply sign up for a Rerun account by clicking here
  2. Note: You will need to use a different Email Address and Sub-domain when filling out this application a second time. Upon doing so, please notify Rerun Support by clicking here.
  3. Once our payment processor, Forte, processes your application and approves it, you'll receive an email confirmation with your new payment processing credentials. These payment processing credentials consist of your new Merchant ID, API Login, Secure Transaction Key and Processing Password. When you receive your new information, please fill out the Client  Transfer Request form. You can choose from the following options:
    1. Transfer all records for another Forte Merchant ID.
    2. Transfer all records to multiple Forte Merchant IDs.
    3. Transfer all records to a third party. (All transfers are processed at the end of the month*). Transfer fee: $149.00 + $0.10 per record (Max charge $500.00)
               *An additional $250.00 fee will be assessed for transfer requests
                processed before end of the month.
  4. For changing ownership and wanting to keep all customer information and history, you will want to select Option 1. Put your new Merchant ID here.
  5. At the bottom, you can elect to close your old Merchant ID under the old business owner. When completing the signature line area, please make sure you put your old Merchant ID in the field on the left next to Authorized Signer. 
  6. Once Forte completes the transfer of the tokens, you can change your merchant credentials within Rerun to begin using your new credentials.

Please Note: If you wish to change your old email address &/or sub-domain in Rerun to the new email address/sub-domain, please email us at hello@rerunapp.com and we can make modifications so that you can make that change.
