Stored Securely
Rerun does not store any payment method information, but instead uses the tokenization method through Forte™ Payment Systems. Using Forte’s PCI DSS compliant environment and processes ensures you and your customers’ credit card and bank information is secure.
PCI DSS stands for Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, which is the set of requirements designed to ensure that all companies that process, store or transmit credit card information maintain a secure environment.
Encrypted Data
With Rerun, your customer’s payment information is secured and encrypted by Forte’s server, who implements the tokenization process. The tokenization process takes the customers credit card numbers and replaces them with a random value making it harder for hackers to gain access to the cardholder’s data. With the combination of Rerun and Forte, you know your payment information is protected.
